Is losing weight possible to achieve in one year for an overweight individual? Why, yes it is possible to achieve that goal in one year by planning now. First, it is important to determine how much you would like to drop by setting goals. Secondly, you will need to conduct research on proper weight loss, diets, exercise routines and local gyms. Thirdly, you will need to be mindful about what you eat and enjoy the new eating habit. Lastly is by signing up at a local gym to exercise daily. Any overweight individual will obtain their goal of weight loss by following these steps. The first step on your weight loss journey is to decide what kind of weight loss makes sense for you. Check your Body Mass Index (BMI) which is an indicator of your body and see where it fits within the BMI categories online. Calculate your current calorie needs, or weight maintenance number, then subtract five hundred or one thousand calories each day to determine your daily calorie goal. If you burn five hundred more calories than you eat every day for a week, you should lose about one to two pounds. If you want to lose weight faster, you 'll need to eat less and exercise more. For instance, if an overweight individual take in one thousand fifty to one thousand two hundred calories a day, and exercise for one hour per day, he/she could lose three to five pounds in the first week, or more if you weigh above two hundred fifty pounds.
