The Inca had a polytheistic religion meaning the worshiped more than one god. Along with that, the Incas allowed the different tribes they conquered to still follow their own religion. Most of the Inca however followed the belief that said The most powerful god was Viracocha. He was considered to be the creator of the universe. However, the Inca mostly worshiped Inti, the sun god who was thought to be Viracocha most important servant/son. Illapa was another well known god and was thought to be the god of weather. The Inca had over 30 different gods they worshiped but the two main ones were Inti and Viracocha.
