In two thousand fifteen, there were five thousand eight hundred fifty criminal incidents and six thousand eight hundred eighty five related offenses that were motivated by bias against race, ethnicity, ancestry, religion, sexual orientation, disability, gender, and gender identity. People might think the decisions they are making are best for humanity, but ignorance can lead them to make choices that negatively impact society. Hate and criminal activity are a just a couple of the major issues society has to deal with today. Good intentions or not, The more you convince yourself you're right in your mind the more likely you are to take action. Life changing decisions can be made without the person really knowing what their consequences may be. Another really interesting way poor decisions can be made is because people are using old habits or teachings that may not be up caught up with the times.
