Illegal immigration is defined by the U.S government as: “the act of foreign nationals violating American immigration policies and laws through the entering or remaining in the country without receiving proper authorization from the Federal Government” (US Constitution, 14th Amendment). Should immigration laws change? There are illegal immigrants in America all ready. America is the number one location to move to for many immigrants. Many immigrants enter the the country illegally rather than using proper documentation and filing for citizenship. America has a problem with illegal immigrants for some time now because there are too many undocumented immigrants already in our country, many immigrants desire to come to the United States, and they cross the border illegally rather than with proper documentation. There are approximately eleven million illegal immigrants currently residing in the United States . The population of illegal immigrants has been remotely stabilised for the last five years. These immigrants make up approximately three and one half percent of the United States. The number of illegal immigrants in our country reached its peak in two-thousand seven with a total of twelve and two-tenths million. This made up four percent of the United States’ population at the time. Six states alone account for sixty percent of the illegal immigrants in the United States.These include Florida, New York, New Jersey, Texas, California, and Nevada. Nevada accounts for…
