Children, suffering because of their gender, and the way things are run. Poverty and extreme conditions have led to these kids being married young without education. It's wrong, but even in these harsh conditions, some prevail. Think of Ruksana from India, although her parents are in poverty, they still send her to school. Sometimes they don't even have enough food to eat. There is an important reason they do this, too important to let it slide. They want their daughter to be better than them, to have more. More than rags and a homemade shelter, they just want the absolute best for her. No more poverty, they are working for something better, something more. Her parents are working so that Ruksana can leave her mark on the world, to grow up
