Human Services Code Of Ethics Analysis

Ethics are known as principles of behavior that governs the conduct of professionals. If you visit the Counselors, psychologists, social workers and human services professionals organization page. They all include an introduction to the code of ethics explaining their mission or core values except for the NBCC (National Board for Certified Counselors). In their introduction, the main concerns are the well being and basic needs of individuals in the community. Along with teaching and helping individuals better themselves moving forward. Though the NBCC does not have an introduction, reviewing their page the concerns are the same as the other organizations. Human service professionals strive to develop and maintain healthy personal growth to ensure that they are capable of giving optimal services to clients. When they find that they are physical, emotionally, psychologically, or otherwise not able to offer such services, they identify alternative services for clients (NOHS,2015). I feel it is my sense of duty to always do my best in all that I do to help anyone. If for any reason I can not personally help whether dealing with work or my personal life. I will always find a way to help so this part of the code of ethics would not be hard to follow. Of all the ethics, responsibility to colleagues, standard 21 would be the most difficult to follow. If I see a colleague showing unethical or problematic behavior, speaking to them directly would be hard for me. I would go to a supervisor and notify them of the behavior I witnessed. This way I would avoid a possible confrontation and hopefully stay anonymous to not cause any uneasiness on the
