One thing we can do is, have everyone learn all the details about the Holocaust. From all the concentration camps to all the gas chambers, it would make them understand all the real horrors of the Holocaust. A lot of young children were affected by this too. Over 1.1 million children died during the Holocaust, many of them suffocated in the crowded cattle cars on the way to the camps. The reason for this is, Hitler was in jail in the 1920’s and read books about the law, then people elected him in Germany. Hitler was a convict and he was running a whole country on his own. We have to be more careful when it comes to electing people. Also, a country needs more help and more opinions than just one guy to help make decisions for everyone, wrong or not.
At the beginning of the Holocaust when the Jews were getting their store windows broken, many Germans sat there and watched. German citizens could have done something to stop this horrible act right at the beginning, but they weren’t alone as the whole world turned their backs on this terrible act. Out of all the countries in the world, not one tried to stop the Holocaust. When the news that it was happening reached the allies, they all refused and put down any rescue plans to aid the Jews. Not one of the countries did anything to prevent the killing of 6 million Jews.
Finally, the mistakes of our past can not reflect how we act in the future. If we all just accept each other as one human race in order to have a world without any chance of another
