Once I was free from the unwavering black hole of depravity, I could be whoever I wanted to be. The once confined boy transformed into a confident young adult. Feeling comfortable outside of the minuscule world I had locked myself inside, I grew into a person who lives life to the fullest. Even more crucial though, is the effect the excision has had on my willpower and motivation in life. Instead of putting off work for later, I learned how to manage my time and keep myself from getting distracted, and my projects became something I enjoyed creating and loved presenting.
Then, as if life could not get any stranger, I hit a goldmine of irony. Right after the event that broke me apart and put me back together as a whole new person, we read ‘The Crucible’ in English. While reading the novel, Reverend Hale especially caught my attention.
