Henry still has a long way to go in his life but going through a war like this and doing what he did matures a person faster than most would ever achieve. I believe that going through war changes a person in a way that makes them different from all the other people who have not been in a war. That in itself makes Henry reach adulthood. Maturity is the main source of adulthood. As an example a newborn is not mature. A newborn is not mature because it has not experienced life lessons and matured enough to understand what to do and how to handle the experiences that come with life. As people grow in time and age they become more mature by handling situations and life in a different way. Henry has proven he has done this because of his transition in the war alone. If I asked Henry if he had become an adult while he was alive,I think he would have said “yes”. Maturity comes with time and experience and with maturity comes adulthood. Some say that being a teenager and being an adult is impossible.But in some circumstances it can be accomplished. This situation happened with Henry as he went to war. His process of becoming an adult was sped up from him seeing,hearing,smelling,and touched throughout the experience at war. Henry going that gives him the maturity that typical adults would have, he respects life and is experienced enough to understand life in a way that adults
