Grant Voth provides details of different Indian stories, which are relied on oral storytelling and influenced by morals. As a result, these stories are usually used as children fairytales. An example of an Indian story is “Jātaka.” The story demonstrates Buddha’s teachings from his previous incarnations and stories (one of these stories is “Pali Jatakas,” which illustrates the story of a terrified monkey who believed the sky was falling). Ironically, “Pali Jatakas” is the original plot of “Chicken Little,” which is the chicken that assumes the sky was falling. Another Indian story is “Pañcatantra,” a five parts collection in which shows Vishnu (Indian god) teaching the art of governing to a king’s three dull sons by stories. Examples
