Generally speaking, technological Innovation can bring product superiority and consequently result in more profits. For instance, the ancient Chinese invented porcelains In 200 A.D.. Compared with the potteries that were widely used in other countries, Chinese porcelain possessed an apparent advantage in appearance, weight and capacity so it became popular in Japan, Korea, Vietnam and other Asian countries. As a result, the international trading of porcelains sprang up soon afterwards. By the end of 15th century, the international trading and business of Chinese porcelain had expanded to Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and North Africa and brought great profits to the merchants and the government of China (Pope, 1962). Nowadays, technological innovations like new weapons, advanced heavy machines and new precise instruments still create the motivation and driver of international business.
