Hitler and the Nazis had many ideologies and expressed these in German culture, most evidently, in Arts, Education and the role of women in society.
Nazi ideology and values were expressed in Arts, architecture, music and film once Hitler came to power in 1933. The Nazis introduced policies which dictated the Arts and the leisure of it. Hitler believed that he was knowledgeable in regards to art. He claimed that there were two types of art, one being un-German art such as work by Pablo Picasso and classical realistic art that represented everything good about the people and Nazi Germany itself. Art was no longer a leisurely activity, as there were many restrictions and rules about what artists were allowed to paint. Education was heavily influenced by Nazi values, and children were taught under one specific curriculum and were unable to have their own independent beliefs and couldn 't think for themselves. Women also, had a stereotypical role, of producing strong, healthy children and cooking and cleaning.
