Most prisoners are torture, deal with violence from inmates, and don’t receive any medical treatment. In fact an issue that they face is male prostitution. This act is practice by men providing sexual services in return for payment. According to reports, more than 200,000 men are raped behind bars each year. Black people report having been sexually abused by their guards at higher rates than white people. White people report higher levels of inmate-on-inmate sexual abuse than blacks. Unfortunately Texas has the highest rate of prison rape. Another issue is that, often male prisoners deal with is the breakup of gangs. Prison Gangs were first identified in the early 1960s. In Male prison gangs is seen a lot within the inmates .The purpose of the gangs is because they seek self-protection and control of drug trafficking and other illegal goods and services. In fact gang members in prison usually already have extensive history of crime than non-gang members. This gangs members find ways to cope with their confinement and the deprivation they encounter through money and power. As a result this gang members can avoid the deprivation of freedom, property, and influence that a prison tries to accomplish. In fact Prison Gangs continue to grow each day and have extended families within each other as ethnic and racial groups of inmates. Barriers such as that women are physically and mentally weaker than men. And are unable to take strain in of working in men prisons. For example they said they are not able to stop danger situation , they can endanger staff for trying to protect them . They are in highly risk in being raped by predatory and sexually deprived prisoner and become emotionally or sexually involved with inmates. Officers also refuse to talk to the woman who is being victimized or prevent the woman from receiving information that is important to her job performance or personal safety. Typically women were believed to be more emotional, especially during times of menstruation which could prompt them to think irrationally additionally, many believed that women had no business being in male institutions for privacy issues Holding the woman to a higher standard of performance then her colleagues, so her evaluation reports become more critical and limit her opportunities for advancement within the organization. They also deal with denial. Most of them have experience denying request for transfer to specialty jobs, access to training or application for promotions .The first female correctional officer in America was hired in 1822 in the Mount Pleasant Female Prison in Ossining, NY. She was the first to work on reforming the conditions of women's prisons1816. Some research does indicate that women are more likely to
