Against everyone's expectations of women to stay home, Susan alongside Elizabeth Cady Stanton founded the National Woman Suffrage Association in 1869. She continued to fight for the rights of women to collaborate with men in the workplace as an equal and for the 19th amendment which is the right for women to vote.
