Frankenstein! We all know him as the horrifying monster, but what we don’t know is that Frankenstein was actually the creator of the famous monster! In the book “Frankenstein” written by Mary Shelly the main character Victor Frankenstein, losses his innocent image when he runs into some contentious situations. Victors neglected conscience relates directly to his lost innocents as well as lack of responsibility. Inconsistency was steady presented imbalancing innocent and guilty aspects also a turn in Victor’s mortality precisely affecting his character change.

After victor left the creature, he was forced to teach himself “the way of life”. It’s unfair to say that all of the disaster was the creatures fault because he never had a responsible elder figure to tell him right from wrong. After Victor passed away the creature explained his thoughts: “But it is true that i am a wretch. I have murdered the lovely and the helpless… i have devoted my my creator, the select specimen of all that is worthy of love and admiration among the men, to misery.”. The major event that happened which made Victor’s character image change was when he said he was going to make the female companion for the creature, but backed out after dedicating so much into the project. “Had i a right, for my own benefit, to inflict this curse upon everlasting generations?” frankenstein explained his reasoning as to why he abandoned his commitment to create a female companion for the creature. This is a prime example of inconsistency shown by Frankenstein, he lead the creature to believe that he was going to do this nice gesture for him and then bailed on the plan last minute.
