Accordingly, if I was asked as a expert if we should cut all funding of fusion research, I should acknowledge my role as an Issue Advocate and then argue for continuing fusion research. On the other hand, if the question concerns how we should produce electricity in the future without contributing to climate change, I believe the most appropriate role is the Honest Broker since the optimal solution to this problem is uncertain, and I believe it is important to explore many options in order to minimize the risk that none of the solutions work well. In this case, I believe that I could be a genuinely honest Honest Broker by adding new perspectives depending on the needs of society, even if my advice would be negative towards
