There are dangers that await that include high winds, bad weather, and altitude sickness for people who climb the mountain. There is an average of 5,000 people who try to climb it. Lack of oxygen is a serious problem while climbing it. If you climb an elevation of 26,000 ft (8,000 m) the human body is unable to acclimate to low oxygen. John all says “ I had trouble sleeping again last night because of too much rest and nervous anticipation of the climb the next day. Also, we got hit by a heck of a wind/snow storm. It shook the tent like crazy all night and it forced snow into every vent and tiny opening. I stuffed my shoes into a crack in the floor of the vestibule that was blasting me with snow. Finally it let up and i fell asleep. I didn’t read or anything because i wanted to give my mind free rein to think and plan the climb. I had forgotten how ungainly my Overboots are and difficult to walk in, but they kept me from getting too badly frost bite so far and are worth the trouble.” There was a young guy that climbed Mount everest at the age of thirteen named Jordan Romero. There were a lot of difficulties but he still managed to climb Mount Everest and a lot of other mountains.
Even though there is a lot of bad weather and issues with mount everest there are still fun things that happen there. On October 7, 2000 there was a guy that got to ski on mount everest. He skied 12,000 feet back to the camp. Also people even flew a flight over it. Douglas Douglas-Hamilton and fellow pilot David Fowler MacIntyre flew a Westland PV-3 biplane over the summit. People have even gotten to snowboard down it, but one member disappeared halfway through
