The question regarding liberty and equality is not something that one would think about on a daily basis, moreover the position that I would take regarding new and old liberty and equality. In fact, I myself just started thinking about this recently. If I was asked to define liberty, I would think of all the rights that I have, the fact that I am not pushed or forced to do the things that I do not want to do, and the fact that I have options. If I was to define equality, I would not be as confident as I am defining liberty. In my eyes, the basics of equality means that everyone has the same rights and the same treatment. I believe that everything should be equal. I believe that no matter the race, gender, ethnicity, social status, everyone deserves the same right and deserve to be viewed and treated as all the same. The new equality means that everyone has the same right to an equal outcome. which in my opinion shouldn't matter. It shouldn't matter if you're making $100k a year or $50k a year. It matters that these two people have the right to get a job. I honestly believe that the New Liberty and the Old Equality goes hand in hand. Under new liberty, you are free to do whatever job, whatever you want, whether you want to go to college or not, whether you are a highschool drop out, whether you are rich or poor, you all deserve to have the same proper treatment as defined by the old equality. That is what makes the most sense to me. If equality and liberty is ever in conflict, I would think that equality is more important. I believe that if at least you have the same rights, the same equality law, the right to be treated the same, it shouldn't matter how free you are because you will be treated as their equal by everyone else. Equality in my eyes is the key to a peaceful life because with equality, you know what is in store for you, you know what will happen to you if you do one thing, because everyone is treated the same, no matter
