According to Amendment one, it gives us freedom of speech, religion, press, assembly. and petition. This amendment is important because it gives us 5 pieces of equality. It is also important because we wouldn’t have been able to say what we want, practice our own religion without anyone else trying to persuade you to practice a different religion, have television, newspapers or any press, or be yourself. According to amendment one, it also gave us the ability to write other rights in the constitution. This statement is important because if we didn’t have other amendments, we would eventually not have other rights in our constitution. Some people think that society is not achievable because due to the fact that others have no behavior or manners to each other. That argument doesn’t support how individuals in the society isn’t achievable because the manner or behavior of other people doesn’t affect our equality in any way. Another reason why that argument doesn’t support how individuals in the society isn’t achievable because the constitution gives rights that list each individual of the United States freedom and rights. According to the constitution, it clearly states all of the rights we have in the U.S.. If the constitution wasn’t invented, some of us wouldn’t be here today and our country would’ve still been put in labor and individuals wouldn’t have freedom at all. The constitution does give us equal rights and some people don’t have that much of knowledge to understand.
