The universe is realm to infinite possibilities and conforming to standards is only a hindrance. I yearn for innovation in projects that I involve myself in. A great example of this characteristic comes from my junior English class. Our assignment was to provide a research paper on a topic and present it to the class. At first I was overwhelmed because of the vast possibilities of which I was able to make as the topic of my paper. I consulted a multitude people currently in my class and peers that previously took the class about what their ideas were. Their responses ranged from the controversy behind GMOs to the importance of marijuana for a functioning society. Although these topics were interesting, and perhaps even daring, they were all topics that conquered journalism. I needed to present something to the class that they had never heard of before. Using my interest in neuroscience, I decided to research a topic that ascended the realm of human understanding: Neuroregeneration. Was it possible to reanimate life? It was a difficult topic to research, there was virtually no insight on the topic. Luckily I was able to find a few credible sources and the discovery of the clinical trial known as the ReAnima Project. As I concluded my presentation to the class, I can the remember bewilderment on my peers’ faces; the look of awe and inspired a sense of curiosity to the unknown.
