Staying hydrated can actually reduce the risk of cancer, reducing colon cancer risk by 45%, bladder cancer by 50% and can possibly reduce the risk of breast cancer as well. Staying hydrated will flush out your waste and bacteria and can cure constipation! Staying hydrated will also improve your overall performance, after all, your brain and muscles are 80% water, your blood is 85% water, and your cells are 90% water! The body uses 3 different hormones to regulate the loss of fluid; antidiuretic hormone, aldosterone and atrial natriuretic peptide. Antidiuretic hormone and aldosterone slow down fluid loss from urine.
