In this society today, divorce has become a normal thing of life. There are many reasons why divorces happen. Divorce in a sense is a cause and effect in itself. Many facets that contribute the cause of divorce are financial issues, addictions and infidelity. There are much more contributing factors but we will focus on those for mentioned. Marriage is the effect of divorce. When obstacles seem hard to get over, you are unable to get along with your spouse and there seem to be no other choice but to get a divorce.

These effects can differ by personal situations and also may differ by gender, age and whether children are involved. Effects of divorce come with emotion, anxiety, guilt, and most of all loneliness. Couples that get a divorce have now, more responsibilities and roles when taking care of their children. Mothers have more responsibility than men when taking care of the children. She will have to work extra hours to provide babysitting and food for her kids, while the father pays child support to the mother. Usually when a divorce happen, both partners will have to live in lower standards. Though these are big effects on the parents, the children that involved will be the ones to be greatly affected psychologically. Parents usually don’t pay attention to their kids because they do not think that the children know what is going on, but in reality the children are quite aware even if they do not know the specifics of the situation. How it will affect the children will depend on different factors such as: age, how well the parent take the divorce and what emotions the adult shows, and if the child seem to be neglected or
