America relies heavily on the natural resources of the Middle East and the Arabic people are in need of dominant outside support to flourish. As well as recognizing the reliance that the world has for the Middle East, America must also understand the cultural differences between the US and the Arabic people. If America were to impose democracy and an American modeled government on the Middle Eastern countries, it would not be a lasting effect because of the clashing cultures. (Ellsworth 1). In Iraq for example, the push for a functioning democracy is near to impossible as the country is divided to give in to the American way of running their country or keeping to their traditional ways. At the same time, none of the politicians who run for their government are that effective and are “advancing to buttress their claims for power—regarding the number of votes they received…” (Serwer 3). The US needs the Middle East to provide for fuel as well as the Arabic people need to restart with the help of an outside force. America’s long term involvement in the region would make the US a useful support tool on the road to future peace. Once America removes the men and woman troops from the violence of the Middle East and replaces their actions with peaceable support, it would be difficult for the Arabic people to resist the support. After all, it is easy to fight violence with violence, but quite difficult to counterattack American forces used to support the Middle Eastern growth. Such a growth will not come to pass if the United States continues to violently suppress the region. Rather, the US must take a step back and approach the situation with sensitivity and productiveness to fully achieve peace for the greater good for the United State’s resources as well as the Middle Eastern
