Developing a system needs a set of skills and to make it a better system I had to improve and learn new skills.
Programming Skills
When creating a system its necessary to have a knowledge about coding. When I first started the project my coding skills were not that great because I didn’t practice coding for a long time. I started improving my skills by reading my previous course books and learning and practicing the coding in the book. I had to do additional reading to improve my skills. It is important to communicate with the users to gather information and with the tutor to get his feedback. I used interviews as a data gathering technic to get information from the users. I didn’t have experience in conducting interviews so I had to lean a new skill how to interview and comiunicate to gather information. And watching the video presentation called Art of interview by Marc Pacher helped me to self learn how to conduct a proper interview. After learning the theory part from Internet I had to practice to increase my interview skills. Before conducting the interview with the real users I did a practice interview with my roommate. Recorded it and watched it to identify my own mistakes. Writing
