“The Date of Infamy” was Japans attack on the Pearl Harbor. It started on December 7th 1941. It put America in war world ll. Japanese Americans were transported to Manzanar. The very first Japanese Americans to arrive at Manzanar were people who served and help build the camp. Military police guarded Manzanar. There was more than 10,000 Japanese Americans. There were only 504 barracks. There was no privacy, and they couldn’t go outside much. There was 200-400 people who lived in a block. Each blocks had 14 barracks each divided by 4 rooms.
