If we give the farmers that live in the Congo Basin, they can learn new ways to farm that can save wildlife. in passage B it states "Promoting local agricultural co-ops helps farmers share knowledge and resources rather than work independently. Learning methods that will preserve and build up the soil will produce better crops. This, in turn, can serve as food for families and provide goods for trade." This is saying that we can save the Basin while using the new farming ways for trading.

While that is true, if we continue to cut down and burn the wood, then most of the trees will be gone in the world so we couldn't breathe. In passage A it says "The Congo Basin rainforest in Central Africa is the second largest rainforest in the world. Only the Amazon rainforest is bigger." If the Congo Basin is the second largest rainforest in the world, then we wont have half the air we have now. also in passage A "The Congo Basin rainforest has been described as the Earth’s “second lung” because its trees and plants absorb large amounts of carbon dioxide. It is home to 400 species of mammals, including half of all elephants that live in Africa. The area is also home to 10,000 species of trees and plants, including 3,000 unique species." This rainforest is home to 3,000 unique species alone, if we finish what we started, they all might go
