My research question was inspired by my interest in villains and, in particular, my two favourite villains Frieza and The Joker. Processes that I used to answer my question included both primary and secondary sources such as Internet, movie, television and comic sources. I also conducted a survey to get other people’s opinions and ideas on the strengths, weaknesses, attack and defence techniques of both villains. The main key findings were that The Joker fits the criteria of an effective villain more than Frieza. The Joker is weaker than his opponent regularly, but uses his intelligence, planning and ability to manipulate people to overpower his opponents although he is lesser in strength whereas Frieza relies on his strength and when …show more content…
This information was gathered through a survey and was then collated and analysed. Although the survey provided a lot of personal opinions, the source was not very valid due to bias. A lot of answers were based on the villain’s likability and the amount of knowledge the person had on each villain. Therefore the information was also not reliable as it is biased and they have no level of expertise. Although the information is not reliable, it is credible because the information does agree with the other sources I have analysed.
The comic source is the most useful as it is a primary source therefore the information is incredibly reliable. There was an abundance of information on strengths, weaknesses, attack and defence tactics which agreed with other sources, making it credible as well. The least useful source was the survey as it was unreliable. There was large amounts of bias and lack of knowledge on both characters made the answers untrustworthy.
