As they believed everything they did was for the best ,and anyone who thought otherwise was automatically considered a criminal and a threat towards the “party”. In 1984, Not only was there this ,but there was also no sense of individualism. There was no hierarchy, and simply there were two groups of people ; Big brother and the rest of society. However, in “Brave New World” people were produced based on specific roles, or in a way similar to mass production.“"Reducing the number of revolutions per minute,". disscussing the past and how its an important role in the minds of the people, in addition to the storyline; we have to put the time period and the authors experiences into consideration. George Orwell’s 1984 and Aldous Huxley’s Brave new world were both written in an era of suffering and devestation throughout the early 1900s. In these books there is a clear understanding that both authors have lived and experienced hardship first handedly . Not to mention how Terrified the authors were on the futures outcome, and how they thought the future was going to turn into a dystopian life based on totalitarian rule.
