“The Obvious objective of video games is to entertain people by surprising them with new experiences.”- Shigeru Miyamto. Since, the early 1990’s, there has only been two heavy weight gaming consoles: PlayStation and Xbox. Over the years, they both have tremendously evolved into impressive gaming consoles. Currently, the latest models are the PlayStation 4 (PS4) and Xbox One. A gaming console is a device which outputs a video image onto a screen. The term “gaming console” is used to distinguish them from arcade machines or computers. Even though, the PS4 and Xbox One are both excellent gaming consoles. They do have a few differences such as price value, exclusive games, and exterior/interior design. Gaming consoles nowadays comes …show more content…
The PS4 comes in only one color: black. The exterior design is made up of two rectangular rhombus stacked on each with the top one pushed back a little. The interior specifications include an eight gigabytes 5500 megahertz (MHz) GDDR5 memory chip, eight gigabytes central processing unit (CPU) chip, Wi-Fi capability, Blu-ray driver, two HDMI ports, usb ports, Bluetooth, two fans, and PlayStation Network (PSN). The PSN is an online gaming service for the PlayStation console. The Xbox one comes in two colors: black and white. The interior design is approximately a 4 by 10 box shape. The exterior design is somewhat similar to the PS4. It has an eight 2133 MHz DDR3 gigabytes of memory, eight gigabytes CPU chip, Wi-Fi capability, Blu-ray, HDMI ports, usb ports, one fan, and Microsoft Live. Microsoft Live is an online gaming service for the Xbox console. In conclusion, the PS4 and Xbox are both contrasting to each other. The cost of both of them are different. They both have only games made just for them. The look and performance are not the same. I personally prefer the PS4 over the Xbox One. I have been a PlayStation fan boy ever since I was a little kid. I have to stay loyal to the PlayStation series. If you have to choose one of the system, I recommend trying out both of them and see was catches your eye the
