Cognitive behavior therapy is a well known therapy that has proven to work for the last fifty seven years. Cognitive- Behavioral therapies are very instructional. This means that When patients know how to direct themselves in the right path, they will have confidence that they can keep this going. The therapist's job is to educate their clients on rational self-counseling skills. Another advantage of CBT is that it is short-term. The amount of sessions for someone would be no more than sixteen. There is patients know need more than the average amount, although sixteen is the average.
