Chewing tobacco is not as damaging to your body as smoking is. Dipping is more convenient in public, not hard on your body like smoking is, and it is a cheaper habit than smoking. Smokeless tobacco is the way to go if you develop a habit, not smoking.
Most public places always encourage to go smoke outside for health reasons. The reasons behind all of these laws to stay within fifteen feet from the building is because of these few reasons. One, many people have asthma and the smoke could potentially kill them if it is bad enough! Another reason is the awful smell of cigarettes. If you look at the fingers and the face of smokers, it is a very unhealthy thing to look at. The chemicals in cigarettes will do that to any person that smokes. The people that dip only, will not have these effects to their body features. The only thing dipping effects is inside your mouth, and the chances of getting mouth cancer are way lower than the chances you can get from smoking. When you smoke, there is an endless amount of life ending cancers you can get. A normal smoker can get mouth, lung, throat, and many more dangerous life ending diseases. A normal dipper can get mouth and throat cancer, very very rarely does a person actually die from these types of things. Statistically, people who smoke, are more likely to not find a date in a faster time than people who dip. This is because who would want to be with someone that always smells like a walking cigarette? The smell is always in your hair and your fingertips will always smell like a cigarette. On average, the price of a pack of cigarettes is about five dollars. The average can of dip is about $2.50. Having a habit to smoke cigarettes gets very expensive and that can take a toll on your health in so many ways. It can cause stress because you are putting so much money into one thing that a person could maybe not get certain bills paid because of this dangerous habit. A person could just find some quarters to go buy a can of chew. People cannot just go scramble up some quarters to go buy a pack of cigarettes. If someone does not have the money for a pack of cigarettes, they will experience what it is like to have withdrawls. It can cause their body to go into shock and possible seizures. The body is used to the nicotine and without it, an average person will get the “shakes” and the human brain could not function the same while encountering this. More people get withdrawls more often when you smoke, to those who dip. This is because poverty is a big issue, and when people cannot scramble up the money for a pack, it is a problem. This goes back to the prices, smokeless tobacco is cheaper and easier to get! When money is an issue, the cheapest way to go is the best way to go. That is why you should take up chewing as you go on in life. Because it is ultimately the safest habit between these two, and it by far the healthiest thing to do.
