Today, citizens all over the world are bombarded with abundant of campaigns that persuade people to stop smoking. To enumerate, the production and sale of cigarettes not only have a negative impact on human health, it can even cause death. Smoking also affects the children around you with second-hand smoking. When a teenager starts smoking and they continue to do so, it can greatly affect their future ahead of them. Cancer sticks contain over 4,000 chemicals that that contain cancer-causing and toxins. The Ingredients in the cigarettes affect everything from the internal organs to the efficiency of the immune system. The effects of smoking on human health are serious and in many cases can even cause death. The fact is that cigarette smoke contains over 4,000 chemicals, including 43 known cancer-causing compounds and 400 other toxins. These encompass nicotine, tar, and carbon monoxide as well as formaldehyde, ammonia, hydrogen cyanide, and arsenic. The ingredients in cigarettes affect everything from the internal function of organs to the efficiency of the body’s immune system. The most common health effects from smoking are; lung diseases(i.e. Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, also known as COPD), heart diseases(i.e.Heart Attack and strokes), low blood circulation mostly in the feet or hands(i.e. This can lead to amputation or gangrene, gangrene means dead tissue).
