The dictionary defines greed as a selfish act to desire more than what one’s have. (Mer16). For many years a political ruler has some level of greed with them, moreover many of them had act upon it bringing devastation to the people. As a matter of fact history has recorded the events and consequences of green and hate. Each nation bleed, encounter violence, poverty and hunger; additionally families were separated and the values of humility and kindness were lost. Under those circumstances many believe that there is no scape and can only follow their misery until the end. Even though, times are dark and with no hope of seeing the light, there is a spark of courage in the vast darkness. For instance, Charlie Chaplin’s final speech of The Great Dictator gives hope to the Jews and initiates a movement to unite against the tyranny of Adenoid Hynkel. Charlie Chaplin encourages a hopeless community with these words; “you the people have the power to make this life free and beautiful, to make this life a wonderful adventure. Then, in the name of democracy, let us use that power, let us all unite!” (Chaplin). Chaplin’s powerful words delivered a message that the current nation needs to hear. During the United States 2016 presidential election a division amongst citizen was seen. Consequently, the division brought hateful discrimination and violence around the nation and left many feeling fearful and hopeless.
