I couldn’t agree more ever since the election, it’s like there’s an invisible barrier separating people in this country. Like Dr.Stranger and the protestors I strongly disagree with Murray’s bell curve but I was appalled to hear that people recited to violence, pushing and shoving a seventy-four-year-old and one of their very own. I believe that a protest that turns to violence simply doesn’t get the message across, thus it becomes futile. On the other hand I’m all for boycotting, peaceful protest and standing up for your beliefs. This is especially crucial in today’s society. One of the speakers displayed an image of a person holding a sign that said, “Racism is as America as baseball”. He then elaborated how racism has existed since the earliest days and has been a part of American culture. Unfortunately this image represented the harsh reality that’s still relevant
