The 1972 election is over and Richard Nixon’s greatest asset, Charles Colson is worn out. Campaigning for Nixon was a great task that took a lot of Colson’s time and required a lot knowledge and wisdom. Therefore, Colson is physically and mentally drained, and now Colson must make a choice pertaining to what will be next. Colson needs to make a choice on whether the White House is where Colson belongs or if returning to Colson’s lawyer duties is the next step in life. Which path must Colson choose?
On both sides of the argument, an agreement is found in the fact the Colson is very talented in which ever path is chosen, but also that each path has its pros and cons. Some may say that Colson needs to return to being a lawyer, and so, the opposing side argues that it is imperative for Colson to remain at the White House.
