Bullying is getting more dangerous everyday. It is the third leading cause of death. To stop bullying you should get a good group of friends. If you tell someone they could get you help. Such as have a well known person sit at lunch by you like the football players of, Hobbs New Mexico. Suicide is the third leading cause of death among people, resulting in about 4,400 deaths per year.
There are many different ways to prevent bullying. Never assume that teasing is harmless, each student's tolerance levels are different. They help kids that get bullied in school. What are the Eagle Buddies? They are football players from Hobbs New Mexico, they help bullied kids. They help the kids during school. They come and sit by them and talk about anything to get there mind of the bully. Then the rest of the kids will see this and want to come and hang out with the bullied student. Someone to eat lunch with or to talk to can change a kid's life. The cheerleaders have joined in and so have to volleyball players. How did the Eagle Buddies start? Luke Kuykendall reached out to a five year old who, was getting bullied in school. Luke decided to start eating lunch with him. He even gave him an autographed football. Luke says “Going to that lunch it was just like fun, you know, seeing his face just light up when you walk in there and seeing him happy, him getting that football. He was happy and it just blew up after that, like everyone started volunteering and like all of the parents just wanted it to happen, you know,” Later on his teammates joined in and picked a student to eat lunch with and just to have fun. Adult intervention is 4%, peer intervention is 11%, not intervention is 88%.” Quote from an expert “Stomp out bullying.” The statistics about bullying is “1 out of 5 kids admits to being a bully or doing some bullying.” Stomp out bullying. You don’t want to be the person that regrets being the bully.
