Woody is the third and the oldest son of Wakatsuki family who is very supportive during Papa’s absence. He is the most fatherly of Jeanne’s brothers, and he supported his family during Papa was absent for a year in Fort Lincoln. He spends a long time of his valuable life beside his family in Manzanar. Woody and his father have different ideas about some decisions, after Papa was back from Fort Lincoln; they have several time arguments with his father.
