Evaluate the relevance of the book of Ruth in light of today's culture of broken promises.

The book of Ruth can be compared of todays’ broken promises with our relationship with God, marriage, relationship with men and women. First, let’s begin with the relationship with the Lord in our modern day. Today, we have distance ourselves from God when it comes to relationship. When we look for a partner or spouse, you begin to think will he/she like me? How should I approach him/her? Is he/she right for me? All these question. All of these question are not important. The important question is Do we have a relationship with God? Boaz is a Godly man, and Ruth is a Godly woman. The book of Ruth displays a Godly Man and Godly women in the presence of the Lord. They obeyed and prayed for the Lord for guidance on marriage to one another. All the people who were in court, and the elders said “We are the witnesses. May the Lord make all women who is coming into your home like Rachel and Leah, both of whom built the house of Israel; and may you achieve wealth in Ephrathah and become famous in Bethlehem (Ruth 4:11, NASB). The last subject is how men and women approach courting each other. Men and women tend to follow friends advice dating. We look through our eyes of appearance, beauty, lust, and status. The promises on how we suppose to approach each other is through God, Modesty and honesty. The relationship with Boaz and Ruth were Godly roles and characteristics we must capture. An example of Boaz is provision. Showed his heart to Ruth. Let your eyes be on the field which they reap, and go after them Indeed, I have commanded the servants not to touch you. When you are thirsty, go to the jars and drink from what the servant draws (Ruth 2: 9, NASB). Boaz showed God’s favor as well for Ruth. The
