Beauty is an non materialistic thing, that an excessive amount of people try to achieve. It is advertised in places one would least expect to see it, while it grasps the attention of adolescents, adults, and the elderly. Many believe that they know it once they see it, as they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. However, once one tries to give an original verbal description of their concept of beauty, it becomes extremely difficult. For those that can share their interpretation of beauty usually say, a person has to possess a particular look. This ideal body image unfortunately pressures people of all ages to achieve that “particular look”. Although it may be difficult to attain, the media glorifies different ways of changing your body in order to be socially accepted. Society has deeply embedded positive associations with altering body images into the culture and as such comprehensive effort to keep natural beauty within our generation is necessary; failure of this can lead to health issues, superfluous medical procedures, and financial burdens.
Advertisements are basically available to everyone in the world whether they are watching television or simply walking down the street.
