The most graceful and grueling performing art of all, ballet, was created during the Italian Renaissance period and was later developed in France and Russia. It is a technical form of dance that includes ravishing, elegant arm movements along with perplexing, impressive footwork. Consisting of more than just steps, it allows space for both physical and mental growth. Ballet provides more than just the ability to perform steps and recognize the corresponding names, such as “plie” or “pirouette”. Long-lasting effects are presented on human beings, such as physical and mental improvements.

The primary impact the majority of people are familiar with is the development of discipline. Myriad of people acknowledge the beauty of ballerinas, but a great amount of the art’s fans lack the awareness of the covert, burdensome pain ballerinas must overcome to achieve the illusion of the grace that makes ballet a distinguished art form. By mastering the task of working through the pain, one proceeds to a higher intellectual level, as the ability to withstand physical pain emanates from the brain. Having the capacity to disregard unpleasant circumstances, such as physical pain, and focusing on optimistic matters can be immensely rewarding, for it allows people to focus on work and put personal troubles aside. In addition, having the power to ignore unfortunate matters makes people appear more cheerful and positive, and therefore, more approachable, which results in a healthy social life.
In short, ballet dance has innumerable positive effects on one’s physique and mind. The demanding nature of the excessively discussed genre of art consequents in a healthier lifestyle, as it improves the condition of one’s physical and mental health. As a result, a person who attends a class will be more likely to procure
