This is the manner of response in which the individuals who decide to follow this route will pretend to adhere to the means that are acceptable to the culture through which to acquire their livelihood. For instance, the offenders may design intellectual ways of getting money and still be recognized and respected by the society. In this case, they may participate in artistic works such as farming and craftsmanship and still earn their daily bread. In the same sense, the society can show love to them so that they do not feel unaccepted and move back to crime. That will help them to accept themselves and accept how nature has shaped their lives. Alternatively, they may seek counselling services so that they can get advice on what to do in times of mental anguish caused by the state of affairs facing them. That in return will enable them to take life positively, and realize the possibility of their lives changing for the better. Counselling will also give them the hope that has been eroded by the way of life that they have at the time. To give them the hope, the government may decide to initiate a program that will facilitate their well-being, and provide them with finances even if it calls for loans at subsidized interest rates, to enable them start their own income generating
