Helping them to find resources and community services that would aid some of their struggles with coping. Also, to assist the children who may have been left behind due their parent or guardian being killed or incarcerated. Another huge theme of the film was the black on black crime and violence. In this case, it would be a large possibility that the criminals in these situations would be clients. My personal goal in this social issue lies with those who need assistance. I am very diverse in the fact that I can work with a variety of differ populations and can treat all people as people. My passion is to work with oppressed populations and make a difference in the lives of those who need it most, whether that be trauma victims, criminals, children with incarcerated parents, drug addiction, mental health issues, financial issues, sexual abuse/rape victims, or sexual offenders. My duty is to not judge and provide the services needed that best work for that individual. I am very aware that my job is not always going to be easy and that I will encounter second-hand trauma, but I am up for the challenge. There are many reasons why I decided to work in the helping profession, and this is one of them. It is troubling to know that in 2017, African Americans are still struggling for freedom. If I in any way can make a difference in the life of someone who feels this great injustice, it will all be worth it. All human beings deserve the right to freedom in this country and reap the benefits our founding fathers gave to all of us. My hope is that one day, future students will not have to watch movies like this because these issues will no longer exist and that we will all live freely amongst each
