At some point in time all people go through a period where they struggle. Life takes a turn down the wrong path, or you get pushed into a hole where you can not see your way out. Life is unpredictable and that is a fact that everyone can agree with. You do not have a choice about where you come from, what gender you are, the family you are born into, the color of your skin or the name you are given at birth. What you do have a choice on is how you manage the struggles and problems life throws at you. There are better ways to manage and cope with problems in life such as art therapy. Art Therapy is able to benefit people with stress, depression, anger and mental disorders. Art is known to relieve stress and can become a good outlet for depression, boredom, or anger. Art therapy is not just used for drawing and writing, but other methods such as dancing, singing, or performing. Arts are there to entertain as well as offer a sense of release for those who create art. It is a way to turn pain and hurt into a beautiful creation for the enjoyment of yourself and others. There are several ways in which one can work through the issues faced in life. Some of the ways in which people can deal with these struggles are though a healthy outlet such as art. Art is the expression of the soul and your inner feelings birthed into creation. Art allows you to let loose and express all you feel whether it be in words or not.
