A reason off the bat that nonviolence is better than violence is religion. There are numerous religions that believe in many different things, but the majority seem to revolve around the idea of kindness and sharing love. Most people worldwide can agree that murder is wrong, so what makes it right to use violence and weapons on masses of people?
