From the very beginning of our feuds with the indians, we have been using unnecessary military force. On November 7, 1811, a united army of natives fought a militia group. The Natives were led by Tecumseh. Tecumseh's brother, known as the Prophet, made a village called Prophetstown, to unite all the Natives. After a meeting that didn't go the US’s way with prophets town, they stormed the village and burned it down. Tecumseh would defend other attacks from the US.
