JSTOR has an endless amount of quality materials designed to be used for research. This is valuable because it makes the sources extremely reliable. JSTOR will not reference materials from weak or unusable sources. The limitation of the origin is that Frank Brown, who is the author of the article, is practically anonymous. The research database, JSTOR, proves little information as to who he is, therefore, making it difficult to discover any intel into his background. Also, other databases and websites provide little information as to what his true identity is. The only links that appear are for other Frank Brown’s, who happen to be completely unrelated to this research. For example, a football players name came up when searching for who Frank Brown really is. The value of the purpose is that it provides an overview of the Brown v. Board of Education case, as well as the previous cases before it. The article includes the decision that the Supreme Court ruled and quickly reflects on whether that has led to equal education among African American students and their counterparts 50 years after. This is valuable because it addresses if desegregation has actually affected African American students not just in primary or secondary schools, but in all educational institutions, including colleges and universities. A limitation of the purpose is that it is just an excerpt that is short. The article just summarizes up every part of the
