Animal Farm Movie And Book Comparison

Animal Farm is a fun and interesting book and exciting movie. The main characters are Napoleon, Snowball, Squealer, Boxer, Benjamin, and Mr. Jones. The story is about a farm called Manor farm run by Mr. Jones. The animals on Manor farm think they there are being treated unfairly and they decide to rebel. One day all of the animals meet up and attack Jones and win. They changed the farms name from Manor Farm to Animal Farm. Napoleon declares himself leader and all the other pigs as first class. Squealer becomes Napoleons right hand man and public speaker. Snowball is one of the smartest pigs and likes making inventions. Napoleon is very jealous of Snowball and later kicks him off the farm. Boxer and Benjamin are very loyal to Napoleon but slower learn to distrust him. In the end the pigs become corrupt and you cannot tell them apart from the humans. Although Napoleon is in both the movie and the book it does not mean that they are all the same. Napoleon is a brilliant leader but very deceitful in both the book and the movie. There many similarities between the book and movie version of him. One of them is in both the movie and the book he declares himself leader. Also in one of their many battles Napoleon, just sits and watches but when the battle is over and they won he gives himself a medal of honor. For example instead of ordering Napoleons capture in the movie he orders him dead. He also didn’t order Mr. Jones’ gun to be fired on his birthday. Napoleon is not the first pig to drink beer one of his fellow pigs drinks it first. Napoleon in the movie changes fewer rules than the book and also changes faster. One of the amendments changed was “No animal shall kill another animal”. The pigs later changed it to “No animal shall kill another animal without cause”.
