There are so many problems that we face in our society today and it’s just hard to pick one, but the one that I am going to address is Racial Discrimination and Hispanics in the US. The reason that I have chosen this is because it is subject that doesn’t get addressed as much as it does with African Americans. Now racial discrimination is a term that is used to let you know about how unfair or unruly behavior can be when it is directed to a certain race. Now as far as we can remember racial discrimination goes back as far as we can remember. Now racial discrimination is not only directed to one race it is all races like African Americans, Native Americans, Asian Americans, and Hispanics, and of course other races. Also including in this act is at the workplace, where they live, and other places. Under this act, even if it is an offensive or abusive behavior or language it is a racial vilification that is prohibited. Discrimination on the basis of race, color or national origin is considered as racial discrimination. When it comes to discriminatory action or attitude with fellow people, irrespective of whether it is deliberate or unconscious is considered illegal and falls under the general view as wrong and unkind behavior. Racial discrimination is either carried out at a personal level or at an institutional level. Racial discrimination is a wide spectrum of behavioral and other forms of discrimination. The people that are being victimized on the basis of racial discrimination are at a disadvantage when it comes to education, housing, medical, benefits, facilities, employment, insurance benefits.

Eighty-two percent of Hispanics responding to the survey said that discrimination is a problem that keeps them from succeeding in general, while 78 percent see bias as a problem in the workplace and 75 percent see it as a roadblock in the schools. The language that they speak is the most frequently cited reason for this discrimination, followed by what they look like.
