A utopia is defined as an ideally perfect place, especially in its social, political, and moral aspects, according to The Free Dictionary. Nothing in the world is perfect, as everyone is different and have different views and opinions. What one might deem to be flawless, another might not. However, even though some countries that exist that are decent, there are a few things that I’d like to add to create what I consider to be a utopia.
The name of my utopia is “Aequitas”, meaning equity in Latin. I chose this name because I believe that everyone should receive equal and fair treatment.

They will be allowed to practice any religion, to be in a relationship with anyone they wish, and express their opinions without any restrictions. People have the right to live, therefore Aequitas’ inhabitants will have the right to receive access to basic necessities such as food, water, and shelter to act as a foundation for survival. They will have the right to vote, so that they can express their wishes to improve the country for the better. The right to free health care will be granted to citizens, as everyone will require health care at some point in their lives, and most people if not everyone would like to live for as long as they can without any issues. Residents will have the right to education, so that they can gain knowledge which can benefit themselves, and provide adequate work to contribute to society. Free public transportation will be a right that everyone will receive, as several people constantly commute to various places, and it will lessen the number of vehicles on the road, and reduce pollution. Finally, citizens will have the right to be presumed innocent until proven guilty. If people were deemed guilty when they were actually innocent, it could permanently ruin their reputation, career, and family, and they could have difficulty trying to fix
