Jordion Research Paper

Have you ever dreamed about creating your own utopia just the way you like it? A utopia is your idea of a perfect world. If i had a chance create my own utopia i would name it Jordion. My utopia might be perfect to me, but no where near perfect to someone else. My utopia would have an Confederate Democracy. A group of powerful people, called guardians, would make all of the major decisions in my utopia. Guardians are a group of maybe 15 to 25 officials in the community that have just enough power to control the community without going overboard. Citizens would be allowed to vote at the age of 17. They could make their own choices to a certain extent. They will not be involved in making rules though.

In my community, housing would be set up based on certain things. In Jordion, there could be more than one boy or girl per household. Families would live in homes big, …show more content…
Children, ages three through 16, would attend school six hours and do at least two hours of recreation. School would start at 9:00 a.m. and end at 2:00 p.m. Monday through Thursdays. Friday through Saturdays, children would have to do three and a half hours of recreation. Recreation is a time of the day for everyone to have free time and do things they enjoy. Adults would go to work for eight hours a day at the least. After work, ladies would go home and prepare dinner and clean the kitchen. Men would make sure the house is nice and tidy for the children. On days they didn’t have to work they would have a free day, which is basically recreation. On their recreation days, they spend time getting things for the house like groceries and cleaning supplies. Maybe even shoes and clothes if anyone in the house needs them. If you have everything you need for the house, then you could do whatever you want that day. Although you don’t work that day, you would still have to be home by your normal time to do your afternoon
